ART SUPPLY SWAP
with
refreshing banana whip stand
Do you have too many art supplies you don't use? Need some new ones? Come to an ART SUPPLY SWAP at the A-SPACE on Saturday, July 24th, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The idea is simple; bring an art supply to swap and then pick up a few new ones for yourself. You are also welcome to simply donate your gently used art supplies, or if you have none and are in need, come fill up a bag.
While you are shopping or dropping off, get yourself a banana whip (yes, just like the ones you get in Ocean City!). They will be made on site and to your specifications for a minimal cost. Part of this money will go to the a-space for hosting the event.
*All leftover supplies will be donated to local arts programs.
art supplies to donate could be:
-pencils, markers, pens
-brushes and palettes
-crayons, pastels, chalks
-inks for drawing and printing
-papers of all kinds
-canvas, stretcher bars
-glues, tape, staplers
-film, cameras
-fabric, thread, yarn, stuffing
-paints of all kinds (no open house paints please)
-clay
-scissors, x-acto knives, paper cutters, rulers
-hot glue guns and sticks
-glitter, vinyl lettering, sequins, beads, ribbon
-portfolios, frames, art books
...and more!
*Please keep the toxic stuff to a minimum (like paint thinners, lacquer, oil paints, etc.) If you are getting rid of it because it is too stinky, it is probably not something anyone else will want.
