"For Your Protection" is a gallery collection of my recent photographic work in communities that have cameras set up for surveillance by local law enforcement agencies. The focus is on these communities in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, The use of closed circuit and live feed cameras brings up a number of constitutional and moral questions I wish to touch upon through images and by encouraging open dialogue on the subject.
A section of photographs related to the recent Occupy Movements springing up around the country and world will also be incorporated into the collection. All are welcome! Please come by the A-Space Anarchist Community Center Saturday October 22nd @2pm to join me in the opening of this gallery. Refreshments will be served. A donation of your choosing to the A-Space is suggested. The gallery will be closing on November 13th @2pm. Please also feel free to join me then as well. Thanks and I hope to see you all there. |
